Ría Thompson-Washington (they/themme/elle) is an Afro-Latine, nonbinary, Queer feminist living on unceded Anacostean and Piscataway land known as Washington, DC. For nearly twenty-five years, they have been organizing and training Black and Latine people, working across and on various campaigns in the Labor movement to Occupy Wall Street, and more recently, providing legal support for Movements.
They are an accomplished organizer and innovative campaign director with a keenness for developing organizing staff, designing volunteer and member engagement programming, and creating digital assets and field strategies. Ría is also a highly skilled facilitator, trainer, and project manager with a passion for data, details, deadlines, and Ws (wins).
